Why They Hate Us
They hate us because they are losers. We have done nothing to them
other than be successful ourselves. Who are the “they”? They
are more than Islamists; they are collectivists. They are people for
whom governments are sovereign and individuals are subjects. Their belief's
are the exact converse of ours. Their hate is the same hate that was
held by Russian communists and is held by all communists and socialists today.
They are the people that don’t believe in freedom. Not just economic
freedom the way liberals don't, not just personal freedom the way conservatives
don't, but people that know in their hearts that others can not be trusted
with any freedom and must be under the authority of God’s agent on earth
to direct their lives.
For communists, the state becomes God. For Islamists the religious
leaders become God (he who speaks for God is God). The word Islam does
not mean “peace”, it means, “submit” and submission is what collectivism
is all about. We are one of the youngest countries in the world.
Many others have been around for thousands of years. We have the oldest
government. Chew on that for a while. It is the key to why they
hate us.
In spite of all the tyrants and crooks that have run our country, in spite
of illegal wars and lawless laws, our constitution has survived and may even
someday be defended as the absolute law of the land. Our law requires
government to defend the sovereignty of each one of us, our life, our liberty,
and our property. Our rights are it’s only basis for existence.
Compare that with every other government on the planet. This government
has survived because most of the citizens over the last two hundred years
have been Christians. From our founders to our present leaders, true
Christians. I was ridiculed in the Diocese of Atlanta newspaper for
asserting that our founding fathers were Episcopalians. It was stated that
they were not “very good Episcopalians.” That was because they were
Christians first and Episcopalians second.
All Christian denominations have their roots in the old world tradition
of the heresy that power comes from God to the state and then to the individual.
This is bull shit. God’s greatest gift to man is freewill. This
is the tool we use to choose life or death, good or evil, love or hate.
Everyone gets eternal life; freewill allows us to choose where we spend it.
In America we turned around the church’s assertion that kings rule by divine
right and created a government based in the beliefs’ of Jesus,
John Locke
, and Thomas Jefferson. It was the individual for whom Jesus died,
not the state, not the collective, not society.
Freewill is called liberty in this country and it allows us to create,
to build wealth, to be what we choose, and to be generous. Economics
is a natural system. It is like gravity. You can’t make it work
other than how God designed it. It only works when it is self-organizing
and that requires personal freedom and the defense of property rights.
These are the two things that collectivist can not abide.
Our misguided mid eastern friends have been doing their thing for two-thousand
years and all they have to show for it is the decimal system and a lot of
sand, and the sand was there already. We have been in business for
a short time and have created so much that the poor in this country live in
houses, drive cars, and are clothed and fed. In the rest of the word
they starve. Freedom provides what no other system ever imagined, abundance.
Our very existence is a festering boil on the face of their beliefs.
I understand and sympathize with them but I am not prepared to let them hurt
us.
